TEACHING CHILDREN FOR OVER 50 YEARS
Lakewood Preschool provides a safe and caring environment for our students. We make learning fun through art, music, gym, cooking, stories, singing, learning centers, and hands-on activities. We help foster the children to have positive self-esteem and develop the basic skills for successful social interaction with their peers and adults. We focus on general preparation for kindergarten readiness skills which include: learning colors, numbers, letters, rhyming, opposites, sequencing, using scissors, writing their name along with many other skills.

Registration for the 2026/2027 School Year is Now Available
To register, either print and mail or email form along with a $50 registration fee to:

Checks can be mailed separately to Lakewood Preschool or Registration form and checks can be dropped off in the lock box at the 10th street entrance. Checks must be received within three to five days to confirm your registration.

Class Choices
Three Year Old Class: Tuesdays and Thursdays - 9:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
*Pre-K Class: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays - 9:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
*Pre-K Extended Monday Class: Mondays, 9:45 a.m. to 2:00 pm, Wednesday and Friday 9:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
*Weeklong Pre-K Class: Mondays through Fridays - 9:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
*Weeklong Pre-K Extended: Mondays 9:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Tuesdays through Fridays - 9:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
The Extended Day Program is offered on Mondays to extended the school day to allow children to eat lunch in the classroom. This full day experience will help to prepare your child for all day kindergarten. After lunch, the children focus on their academic skills through learning centers and fun, hands on activities.

Pre-K Class: $1000 per semester
Pre-K Extended Class: $1100 per semester
Weeklong Pre-K Class: $1200 per semester
Weeklong Pre-K Extended Class: $1400 per semester

Each class has a one time cooking/activity fee for the year:
$50 for Tues/Thurs classes
$75 for Mon/Wed/Fri classes
$100 for Week-long Pre-K classes
