Please join us on Monday June 8th from 6:00-7:00 in the Lakewood Prayer Chapel (off the sanctuary). This prayer hour has a new format which will include a weekly focus and special prayer intention. This is a comfortable, welcoming, covenant space to gather in the presence of God. You don't need to pray out loud unless you want to - you can simply participate by being present. We plan to meet every Monday for one hour - there is no commitment - come when you can or feel called to be there. Everyone is invited. Are you a recent graduate or know someone who is? If you are a member of Lakewood Church and plan to continue your education, academic or technical trades training, we encourage you to apply for a Lakewood UMC Scholarship. Applications are in the back of the Sanctuary. Return completed applications to the Church Office no later than September 30th . Applications will be reviewed by the Trustees at the September meeting.
July 3rd 5:00–8:00 PM Join us for this special community event as we connect with our neighbors and share God’s love. Our church will host a Hospitality Tent, craft table, Kids on Wheels Parade, Sonlight Puppets, Prayer Wall, and family-friendly giveaways. Volunteers are needed to help make this outreach event a success, so sign up in the Narthex and be part of this evening of fellowship, service, and community connection. You can also support this ministry by donating microwavable popcorn, bottled water, or a monetary gift to help purchase supplies for the event.

We served 146 families in the rain on Tuesday April 14th. When you are shopping, please think about your neighbors who need to consider what they are able to purchase. Our shelves need your help with tuna fish and jelly. Thank you for helping us stock our shelves.
LakewoodErie Our Instagram account is making a comeback! This outreach platform will be led by our youth, with the official kickoff taking place during the Red Bird Mission trip. We are excited to see how this renewed presence will help us share our mission, highlight ministry moments, and stay connected.
